Paisley Printed Vintage Clothes

Paisley Printed Vintage Clothes

Last season was all about the 70s, with high street stores stocked full of midi skirts and pussy bow blouses. And our obsession with the decade that brought us flares doesn’t seem to have changed for Spring/Summer. The difference is, now 70s shapes have been replaced by 70s patterns. By next season, we’ll all be going crazy for paisley! But you needn’t wait until then; get ahead of the fashion pack and buy vintage clothes.

But stop right there, before you head down to your local vintage shop or scour the web, take a look at the Spring/Summer shows for some inspiration. Paisley was used by all of the top designers in a number of creative and inventive ways.

Both Matthew Williamson and Paul & Joe were on the same wave length with their boho designs and beautifully crafted maxi dresses. Stella McCartney and J W Anderson created paisley printed pyjama pieces. It remains to be seen whether wearing pyjamas outside of the house will catch on! But elsewhere Jil Sander’s paisley printed cotton day dresses were a much more wearable alternative. And Emilio Pucci created paisley pieces in a range of eye popping hues, from scarlet and pink to turquoise and lime. So when you’re searching for those vintage clothes look for eye catching colours.

Look out for vintage maxi dresses and bold paisley printed shirts. The best thing about buying vintage clothes is that you’re unlikely to be seen wearing the same outfit as anyone else. Most vintage retailers only stock one of each item due to the nature of sourcing vintage, making it easy to create a unique and stylish look. Try mixing new pieces from the high street with your vintage pieces for a modern twist, or try vintage accessories such as a paisley printed scarf for a more understated look. Just remember if you do opt for paisley printed vintage clothes next season, pair with minimal accessories to avoid pattern overload!

One of our favorite companies, Calzedonia, returns in style this season. The firm presents its new catalog, complete and fascinating selection of tights, leggings and socks for fall and winter.

This collection is the clear indication that a good pair of socks can transform a boring look. To this end, we propose a series Calzedonia to dress our legs and give them the importance they deserve, with variety and style.

From the most basic models for the day to day, to more sophisticated designs such as lace stockings. The college style prevails in the line of socks, with an innocent touch in stockings with bow.

Donatella Versace wanted to pay homage to the history of the firm founded by his brother Gianni with this proposal. The designer has brought together the main elements that have characterized his style: bold prints, exotic colors and lots of skin. The result, however, is a little wearable collection.

What I’m new miniseries by Mango; includes the step looks

Mango has a season more than I get by Mango, this time with new and improved episodes of a miniseries that has sufficient quality and quantity as to engage in fashion addicts.

Last week I attended the presentation and left thrilled to see the six chapters of this mini-series and are really well produced. In it we see, through the lives and experiences of four friends (much like Sex and the City), different styles, all with Mango clothing. Do not tell me that it is a novel way to introduce the new collection.

In the series goes the blogger chosen this season for the fans of Mango, Andy Torres Style Scrapbook blog, playing a fashion stylist, and certainly not doing anything wrong. So as you see no missing ingredient to make the miniseries a success beyond the sales strategy.

Also, after seeing the chapters, you have the opportunity to check and buy the looks of each character through a pioneering platform launched in the Mango website.

Not by choice, Mango tray lets your style this fall and winter.

Autumm Smile, the new collection of White

Just a few days ago I overtook the proposed new Blanco, Autumm Smile. The funniest collection of low cost firm is already here, and within a few days, and we can find in stores and its online store Blanco. Do you think you share anything?

The autumn-winter 2011-2012 collection of White expands with this new proposal, a selection of garments that show the most daring and irreverent face of the firm. Advance from the first season, we had a more sober and formal look, this latest installment bold bet on combinations between casual and sophisticated.

The star piece will fall to White, the parka. The firm rescues this garment, so wearable and functional and makes it the essential piece of the season to cope with the weather.

Other basic notes of the season. The classic trench, which is presented as a layer, or biker boots are parts they can not keep track of.
